Support MCCS

Members of the Churches of Christ for Scouting (MCCS) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donations to MCCS are tax-deductible. All funds contributed are used to defray costs in operating the various programs. Our support comes primarily from individuals and congregations who donate to us and from the sale of our medals when young people complete our curricula.  If this ministry has enriched you and your family’s life please consider making us a regular part of your giving. Also, please advocate to your congregation that MCCS is a ministry that they might consider supporting corporately.

  • Since MCCS’s founding in 1986 hundreds of Church of Christ scouting units have been chartered across the United States.
  • MCCS is recognized by BUT fully independent of all four major scouting organizations (Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts USA, American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA) as the organization to refer to help them work with local congregations and individuals from our fellowships.
  • MCCS serves youth in all four major scouting organizations in addition to young people who are not involved in scouting.
  • Thousands of Bibles have been distributed to scouts at national and regional jamborees and at high adventure bases.
  • Thousands of Church of Christ Religious Emblem Awards have been and are presented at award ceremonies across the nation.
  • MCCS has supports numerous youth events and exhibits every year.
  • Gifts from generous supporters, churches and foundations are what make the above possible.
